BUMPER 2 BUMPER TV Male Speaker: This is Bumper 2 Bumper Tv. Greg Morrison: Make no mistake about it, the Jaguar XF is an apple that didn't fall far from the tree. Well larger than the X type, the XF fits into a niche between the brands definition of a mid-size and its stretch length big brother the XK. Under the hood, the XF is available with the choice of four engines starting with the diesel for European sale at 3.0 liter V6 and two versions of the 4.2 liter V8, one of which is super charge and delivering 420 horsepower. The standard V8 we tested delivered with the Jaguar legacy smooth low and top end performance and handling with crisper than early a model. A close look at the design feature show where the company is heading in terms of styling while retaining the brand's unique look. But it's the interior with the wild factor kicks into high gear. The first thing you notice before starting the engine is that all of the surfaces are flushed then watch what happens, a new drive by wire shift selector raises out of the console just under the natural location of a drivers hand, but the wild factor doesn't end there, the air-conditioning vents also recess when not in use. One the more noticeable upgrades it's in the audio system, which is integrated with a series of function screens that seem to anticipate whether driver wants to make an adjustment. Now Jaguar claims it can seat five people in this vehicle both the front seat set for an average person, the second row can be a little bit tight, but that can be forgiven when the total sense of experience of the XF is taken into consideration. This is the final product development in Jaguar was part of the Ford Automotive Group. For the new owners of the brand it's not a bad way to introduce themselves to the luxury car segment.
