2010 GMC Terrain Review

Description

Cloning may be a good practice for computers, certain plants and even a piece of music. But Bumper2Bumpertv sees the Terrain as simply a clone. Is that what General Motors should be doing now that the company has narrowly escaped disaster and needed government help to get back on its feet.

Bumper 2 Bumper TV This is Bumper 2 Bumper TV. Greg Morrison: General Motors must think a different rapper can disguise a cloned vehicle or at least it peers that way with the Terrain. Terrain a small SUV from GMC appears to be a shrunken version of the legendary Suburban with similar lines and design cues. But a close examination revels many of the same features as it's corporate sibling the Chevrolet Equinox. Starting with the foot print both are a 112 inches long and fully loaded up took the scales at 4100 pounds for the all wheel drive version with the V6 engine. Speaking of engines, the - that's right both offer a choice of a 2.4 liter in-line for turning out 182 horsepower and 172 foot pounds of torque or a three liter V6 delivering 264 horsepower and 222 foot pounds of torque. So it's no surprise that fuel economy numbers are the same and GM made sure the Terrain has the adjustable rear seat just like the Equinox. Now there are several differences the Terrain comes with a standard review camera for example, the instrument panel share the same pattern but the details are configured differently. And depending upon what level of equipment is ordered, the audio systems are interchangeable. Since both vehicles have 17, 18 and 19 inch wheel packages recommended tires can go on either brand. Mark it as well I will do the familiar identical offering to the Chevrolet version is to offer GMC customize an option without leaving the brand. Well that may have worked in fresh economic times it seems to be a tough sell for a company that needed billions of government dollars to stay a float not that long ago. This is Greg Morrison.
