The 2010 Tour de France, an annual bicycle race covering approximately 3,600 kilometers (2,200 mi) throughout France and bordering countries, started with an 8.9km prologue in Rotterdam and ends on the Champs-Elysees in Paris. The first three stages pass through the Netherlands and Belgium on routes. Most stages are in mainland France. There are six mountain stages, three of them with mountain finishes. The overall winner must be a master of the mountains and of these time trials. 6 out of 22 teams took part in the 2010 Tour de France are covered with a September 2008 agreement with the Union Cycliste Internationale. People often think it is a hard competition; however, Tour de France becomes peaceful with beautiful sceneries in the eyes of AFP journalists....
