2010 Volvo C70 Car Review Volvo’s only convertible the hard top C70 has been a staple on their lineup since the late 90’s. For 2010, it receives a fresh and front end reminiscent of the S60 concept car showing Detroit earlier this year. The high-tech LED lamps similar to what’s found on the XC60 are the most noticeable update at the rear. The interior has been redesigned and the surface of the panel has a new texture intended to enhance the feeling of quality. Exclusive new instruments with gauges and graphics specific to the C70 are designed to give the car a more premium fill, something it has lack in the past. What hasn’t change is the C70’s only available engine with turbo charge 2.5-liter 5-cylinder making an unspectacular 227 horsepower, 0-60 times are in the mid sevens. A 6-speed manual is standard while a 5-speed auto is at $1250.00 option. Gas mileage is rated at 20 mpg city and 28 highway. The hard top which folds neatly into the trunk does its thing in a touch of a button in 30 seconds, pricing starts at $40,850.00 before incentives and rises to around $50,000.00 completely loaded.
