What’s up guys Jesse with you FIX for Wednesday, October 20th. To kick things off Apple held another special news conference today unveiling a boat load of new Mac announcements. Highlights include a new version of iLife, FaceTime and the App Store finally coming to the Mac OS. Steve Jobs also announced the new version of the Mac operating system called Lion due out next summer. Apple then closed the conference by showing off a new line of Mac Book Airs which are available today. Be sure to check out IGN girl for all the details. Now moving on follow up New Vegas has hit stores but not without its problems. A number of people including myself are reporting bugs and glitches while playing the game. Developer Bethesda is aware of these issues and has promised to fix the bugs via downloadable updates. No word yet on windy updates will hit bop it does it says they are working on them as quickly as possible. And the makers of Cut the Rope may have found themselves a new home. Tech Crunch is reporting that the Chillingo the publisher behind Angry Birds and Cut the Rope has been bought by drummer all please, electronic arts. Not too surprising considering Chillingo has helped create some of the most popular and addicted games from mobile devices. However, the $20 million deal does not include the right to Angry Birds which is still owned by developer rodeo mobile. And finally, as a special reminder Blizz Cons starts this Friday. IGN will be there covering all the Blizzard festivities and announcements and as a special treat IGN is also giving away super rare collectibles for a world of world craft namely the Blizz Con exclusive for World of Warcraft namely Blizz Con exclusive pullover mounts and the Merlock’s based marine pet.
