Kristen: Hi! I'm Kristen from Dayton, Ohio. We were just wondering, if you are wearing birth control, what would be the best place on the body for the patch? Dr. Melissa Gilliam: Kristen, there are three recommended places to place the patch. The first is on the hip towards the buttock. The other is on the back up towards the shoulder and then the other is on the lower abdomen. The most important thing is not to put it on the chest near the breast where it can cause increased breast stimulation.
