Burnham Opens For Justin Bieber

Hollyscoop.com caught up with the brothers, Burnham; Alex, Andre & Forrest Burnham who gives us the scoop on fame, going on tour, and being compared to and opening for Justin Bieber. Interviews by Bridget Daly.

Burnham Opens for Justin Bieber Violet: Who do you guy’s kind of look up too? Male: I mean, I mean of course its Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers. I mean that those, those are big names. Male: Yeah. Violet: Yeah, yeah. Male: I mean and you also have to say you look up to Ryan Taylor a little bit. Male: I do. Violet: I just saw him he’s amazing in Arthur. Male: Yeah, he is. Violet: He’s an amazing performer. Male: Yeah, we actually saw him, he opened up for Bon Jovi and Ritchie is here right, Ritchie -- Violet: Yes, yes I saw him here not very long. Male: It's cool. Violet: I know you guys are getting ready for your big show tomorrow at Staples opening for the bits. Male: Yeah. Violet: Yeah. Male: And it’s going to be insane, I've never even been inside the Staples Center so that actually be playing there is sort of like. Male: Yeah. Male: Crazy. Male: Yeah, it is. Violet: How do you guys kind of psyche your self up for him? Male: You know we say a quick prayer. We huddle up and we’re ready to go. Male: Yeah, we like to say like one, two, three let’s kill this. Violet: Oh, that’s so cute. Male: Yeah. Violet: So you know being here do you guys ever have guessed like beyond Justin and kind of like see what he’s like and he’s going to like seeing him back stage. Male: Well we hope to. This is going to be our second or third show coming up. So we haven’t really been on, we’ve been on the road for like three days so far. Violet: Oh, wow it’s all new. Male: Yeah, it’s all totally new. We’re just really crazy. Violet: To see everything. Male: But we’re starting to acclimate stuff and then hopefully we got to beat them a few times. Violet: You guys need to do like a collaboration with him. That’s got to be like the next stop, right? Male: Yeah. Male: And that will be definitely pretty sick. Male: That would be awesome. Violet: What do you think it’s like to be if like if you can compare yourself to another band out there who would you says you're like? Male: I mean we get compare a lot to-- Male: We get compared to a lot of people. Male: Like the Jonas Brothers. Male: I mean all three of us are brothers and stuff and it’s definitely a great comparison with Jonas, Hanson you know sometimes you know I got a of Lyons, his little brothers -- Violet: I see uh-huh. Do you guy’s will play a twin too? Male: Yeah. Violet: Cool and so what do you think makes it work with they had the whole brother dynamic because it’s work with Hanson, it's worked with Jonas Brothers and now you guys. Male: I mean like it’s just much easier because we’re always together and we can always just write a song there and like we’re brothers so there’s not a really a chances for brothers to break up usually. Violet: Yeah, I know. Male: I mean it can, it can happen but we’re really close and tight so it’s sort of like whenever we’re going to do a rehearsal or something I can just shout down the stairs, “Hey, guys it’s time to rehearse” and you know they just -- it's not like everybody gets in their cars and drives over they just come down stairs and we’re good to go. Violet: And then what’s it like when you guys aren’t on stage or not performing and not doing things in music, is it just a regular normal life for you guys? Male: Oh, I mean we’re doing this stuff right now. Violet: Yeah, this is sort of normal. Male: This is sort of normal, yeah. Violet: It's probably normal to walk a purple carpet on a Sunday. Male: Yeah. Male: Yeah, like we’ll do school, sports, I mean play video games. I mean who doesn’t. Actually we just play The Connect. Violet: Uh-huh. Male: Yeah. They actually gave us one yesterday, so we’re pretty. Violet: Oh, very cool. Male: And they say we’re one of the 25 people whom have it. And we have it sort of like “What? It's amazing” so we you know kind of hook up in our tour bus and came out with it. Violet: So what’s going to be the big single that everyone is going to be talking about? Male: I’d say “Catch Me If You Can”. Male: Yeah, I mean Catch Me If You Can right now is on Disney being played you know like every hour something like that. We just heard it coming in like that’s our song. Violet: Oh, no way and that’s so insane. Male: Yeah, it's insane. Violet: So were going to hearing you guys on Ryan Seacrest in no time probably. Male: Yeah. Male: Yeah, we’ve been on there. Violet: Yeah. Male: We did it him like a few weeks ago it was like crazy, he’s awesome. Violet: That goes for it, well good luck to you guys.
