Ashley: Cadillac is known for producing some of the most luxurious rides. Hi! Welcome to www.watchmojo.com. I am your host Ashley and today we are going to take a closer look at the Escalade and the CTS. So what does the 2008 Escalade has that others don't in its category? Jose Machado: It's known by the security, the comfort of the car, the finishing. They made a nice touch of chrome everywhere in the car and then a lot of features such as the 22 inches wheels, the GPS with backup camera, the second roll sits, and you just press a button and the seat falls down to get in the car. Ashley: Can you tell us a little bit about the different models for the Escalade? Jose Machado: There are three models which is the regular Escalade. Then you have the ESV, that's the long one, which you can sit eight passengers with a lot of trunk room. And we have Escalade Extended which is a pickup version. Ashley: Can you tell us a little bit about the Cadillac CTS? Jose Machado: The Cadillac CTS is the smaller version of the Cadillac. The base model starts with a rear-wheel drive, very well equipped already. It has all the electric group. The leather seats, the power seats in both seats front. It has more 3.6 with 263 horsepower and it's available in even more which is 304 horsepower at 3.6 direction injection. Next year we are going to have a version which is a two-door and CTS V with 550 horsepower. Ashley: And what do expect from Cadillac in the future other than the CTS? Jose Machado: Right now we still have a model which we call XRX which is a family car, but smaller than Escalade, which is going to be replaced by Cadillac Provoq which is going to be a all-new model. Ashley: Why does the CTS stand out compared to other sedans? Jose Machado: It stands out because it is a nice looking car. It's very well finished and gives a very performance and security too, because it's all equipped with ABS brakes, stability track, traction control, you name it, it has it.
