Capturing the Screen with Print Screen Deluxe

Hi! This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder. And welcome to your butterscotch.com tutorial on capturing the screen using print screen deluxe. Now, I’m at the American Systems home page who makes print screen deluxe. Go there and download Print Screen Deluxe and install it on your computer and then open it up. Now, Print Screen Deluxe has a wide range of features. One thing I really like about it is down the left hand side here, it shows you what options are currently selected. So, you can tell all the glints that I’m going to capture a rectangle. I’m going to capture it by using the print screen key and I will save to a file. I also see that I have auto save and auto pop up, auto scroll which means that if I’m capturing like a web page it will automatically scroll for me. I’m also—the mouse cursor. I have equipped Capture button activated which is this little button right here and I could move this around the screen, it makes it easy to capture screens because I can just go there. I don’t have to press the key on my keyboard and I also have it set to play sounds. So, with the first green button here, I will just click this. You see that crosshairs come up it also shows the XY coordinates. I left click, hold the mouse button down, drag. You can see a little dotted line forming, when I get to where I want it to be and let go. My capture comes up in this Display window. If I want I can open up the editor portion and put an arrow, highlight and much more. I can say save, give it a name. I can also select what file type it is and then click save. And that’s all there is to it.
