Chanel Fashion Label Profile Known for its elegance and stylish designed outfits, perfumes and cosmetics the French house of Chanel has become one of the most recognized labels in fashion. It all began in the early 1900’s when Gabrielle Coco Chanel opened a small store in Paris. This was the beginning of what was to become one of the leading fashion empires in the world. Coco was well known for her self invention and self promotion, which helped the fashion label she created reached iconic stature. Chanel introduced the little black dress in the 1920s creating a fashion staple but every astonished woman would have in her closet for any occasion at the moment notice.
