Hollyscoop TV host Diana Magpapian-Madison interviews Rob Viniker, owner of Chi Dynasty Restuarant & cast members of ''The Hard Times Of RJ Berger', Kara Taitz & Amber Lancaster. We get the scoop on some of the popular dishes at the restaurant and learn how to make a healthy great tasting Chicken Salad for Thanksgiving.

Chi Dynasty Restaurant - Hot Spot Diana: You hold a lot of places in the Los Angeles from clubs, to restaurants, why did you decide to own a Chinese Restaurant? Rob Viniker: That’s a good question. My partner Michael and the Muse Lifestyle Group, was a long time customer of Chi Dynasty in Los Feliz who are sitting down and eating at the Chi and it was like you know, there are not many great, you know, Chinese restaurants that you know, have that authentic feel, authentic taste and the staff and the service that Chi Dynasty has. We approach, you know Jonathan Chi and asked him what his goals were in the near future on the building his empire and one thing led to another and Chi Dynasty Empire hopefully will be built. Diana: Who are the celebrities that have stopped by? Can you name a few? Rob Viniker: Gilles Marini and Andy Garcia, Gavin Rossdale had come with his kids. His kids actually come here often. It’s been a really, really great place for us to just see those studio cities are very comfortable and more homey place for young parents. My favorite dish obviously, it’s voted as the best is the Chinese chicken salad. Diana: I hear you are dumplings, dimsum and Chinese Chicken Salad are the best. Rob Viniker: Yes! We believe that if you are perfect fit for Thanksgiving and give a little bit different flavor and more of the Chinese world. Diana: A lot of people complaint about Thanksgiving, how they put pack on so much weight. So, are you guys excited about this? Kara Taitz: Yeah! It looks fun. It’s definitely different and exciting for the holidays. So, yeah! Amber Lancaster: I’m really excited. I’m a bit concerned. I’m hoping that it still taste just as good. So let’s see. Kara Taitz: I’m really excited. This can be great it’s like if it’s fun to have an alternative to what you’re usually eat stew at Thanksgiving. It’s like a good topic at the table, talk about it and everything and just great to have something else other than we always eat. The traditions are still there but you get to add to it. Amber Lancaster: I’m actually going with my boyfriend home to his family’s Thanksgiving this year. So, if they are that good, maybe I’ll actually make it for them and do it - you know, impress them a little bit. Oh, this thing is sharp. I think I need one of this at home. I’m doing it. Kara Taitz: It’s that our dish, all of them? Male: Add ginger and some --. Kara Taitz: How much do you put in? Diana: Oh, yeah. Amber Lancaster: We are often out of the cilantro option for our Chinese chicken salad. Male: --onions, some rice noodle. Amber Lancaster: Rice noodle, flatten it? Kara Taitz: Then you flavor. Amber Lancaster: This thing is awesome. I think we did a good job. Kara Taitz: Yeah. Amber Lancaster: I will eat this salad on Thanksgiving. Kara Taitz: Me too. Amber Lancaster: High five! We did a good job. So, it tastes really good? Kara Taitz: It is really good. I’m not lying. This is our Thanksgiving salad that we prepared as an alternative to the traditional.
