Male Speaker: Coal Creek Golf Course is located right here in Louisville Colorado. It's about 15 minutes north of downtown, Denver I-25, straight to U.S 36 and it's the Superior Louisville Exit and minutes away from Boulder Colorado. What I love about this golf course is that it's very secluded to get off its very wide open tee shots. We are surrounded by a couple of homes, but nothing that's too close to you to make you feel crowded. Dick Phelps designed this golf course pretty much to the natural landscape. It's a kind of target golf and a little links style golf. Front end of Coal Creek Golf Course has a lot of different water features too. Count #3, you tend to run into coal creek, hence the name Coal Creek Golf Course that will pop up holes 4, 5 and 6. One of the great drop holes at Coal Creek Golf Course is number 6, it's a little over 400 yards from par 4 from the back tees, you have a very, very narrow opening. A fairway does open up a little bit to the right, but that is heavy. We also have two creeks running through and a water feature just to the left so you need to be very, very accurate off the tee and once you are in the fairway, get an open shot to the green with a couple of features out there as far as the bunkers and another creek just on the left side. Dick Phelps has designed this golf course to his eye with big bunkers as he likes to do. Number 7, it's green, it's very well protected with a large mouthed bunker just in the left and a bunker back right. Coal Creek Golf Course has a great variety of tee boxes. We have got four different tee boxes, the women, seniors and a couple of men's tee boxes going all the way back to about 7000 yards providing some very, very challenging tee shots from the forward tees, for those golfers with a little bit higher handicaps, they are at very lovely tee shots, yet very tough as well, hole 2 kind of tighten out near your approach areas. At Coal Creek Golf Course, we are a daily key golf course so we are open to anybody who wants to come out and enjoy our beautiful golf course. We have a full driving range, chipping green and the putting green. We also offer private lessons and group instruction. We have a very, very prominent men's club and a very prominent ladies club both which are very competitive yet very laid back. Coal Creek's back 9 number 12 here at Coal Creek Golf Course is a very short point par for, however it's a very, very tight landing zone on your tee shots so make sure you stay shy of those bunkers on the left side. Hole number 16 is our favorite driving hole here on the golf course. Most of the folks here Louisville love playing that hole, inspires a big swing of your tees, makes you accurate fill and helps you find highway 36 after the side there.
