The "Harry Potter" bad guy talks about his post-"Potter" auditions, working with Ashley Greene and more!

Deathly Hallows Premiere: Tom Felton Jason Kennedy: Here’s Tom Felton. What's up buddy? Jason. Oh, you know this guy I think. I'm doing good man. Tom Felton: Are you a crony of him? Jason Kennedy: I don’t want to be looped in that cold category --. Tom Felton: You don’t want to associate yourself with this gentlemen right here, really. He’s a wicked man, wicked man. Ben Lyons: Always great to see you Tom, I really appreciate it buddy. Tom Felton: Likewise Ben. How you guys doing? Are you alright? Jason Kennedy: Great. We’re going to ask you. Oh what dude, you? Tom Felton: Well blessed you, I'm – Ben Lyons: You know I always got the movie star actor look going right now. Tom Felton: I really do a little effort here. I just get told what's to wear that’s the end of it. Ben Lyons: This is from the clean and pressed collections, so I'm very proud of this. Jason Kennedy: Tom, I’ve got to know because there are a lot of people on set that cried the last day of shooting. Ben Lyons: Yeah. What about you, did you shed tears? Tom Felton: I was like I was about too. I've kind of scurried off to be fair. I could feel it wailing up inside me. It was an emotional moment. I kind of shook everyone’s hand awkwardly and got out of there as quickly as I could. I knew I was going to breakdown if I stayed any longer. So yes it’s pretty emotional. Ben Lyons: You know we’ve heard that you’ve got and shot bunch movies now, like three of them in the Canne I feel like. But tell me about your first round of auditions, right after the Harry Potter series ended. How do those go Tom? Jason Kennedy: Yeah, we preface it before you came down the carpet. What happened there? Tom Felton: I think you can see what's going to happen here. I’ve never all done some auditions since being 11 years old. So it was a really different taste when I was 21. It was in LA. I walked in. I tried to shake everyone’s hand and then realized that it wasn’t the shaking hands moment. I retreated back to the x on the floor and did my best for the lines. I literally was convulsing. My legs were like shaking like this. I couldn’t help myself. It was hugely terrible. At least, it’s already half from there, right. That was the worst audition I ever did. Needless to say I didn’t get a part. Jason Kennedy: You didn’t get it? Tom Felton: Afraid, not. Jason Kennedy: There are producers are watching right now, do you want to say anything to them? Tom Felton: Please ignore any nervous audition tapes. I’m much better on the set, I promise. Ben Lyons: I love how you get on nervous on the confines of audition room but out here with the fans and at the premiere, you’re totally fine. It’s another day in the office for you, right? Tom Felton: Exactly, this is fun, I could do this. It’s a – you know what since then I’ve got a lot lot better. It was just that first audition after 10 years, was very, very nerve rocking but since then, I’ve tried to perfect -- all of it and in this quite not hard. Jason Kennedy: I read recently that you don’t think fame is a positive thing, why not? Tom Felton: Did I say that? Jason Kennedy: You did. I know everything you said. Tom Felton: I doubt and I close of it, I think you’re putting words in my mouth come from. Jason Kennedy: I promise, I read it. Tom Felton: No. Jason Kennedy: But maybe if it’s not true, tell us. Tom Felton: No, no, fame has pros and cons for anyone. I think it's a very personal thing depending on what you and out of it or – I mean fame is just a story thing now. People are famous for being famous than those hadn’t even done anything, so it’s a weird one. I’d rather to be known – you know for doing things. Whether it would be small or big contributions to life, I’d rather to be known for that so I’ll just continue on that mission. Ben Lyons: You are known for your work, you’re known of course as Draco Malfoy. But you are doing another film with the beautiful Ashley Greene and Jason. I think it’s the President of the Ashley Greene fan club? Jason Kennedy: I think Joe Jonas is now, I'm just saying. Ben Lyons: You stepped down – you tell me about the film with Ashley you’re going to her? Tom Felton: It’s called The Apparition. We shoot it earlier on this year. It’s going to be coming out, I think late next year. I mean Ashley is a wonder to work with and she looks this. Jason Kennedy: That’s the good way of saying it. Tom Felton: She is literally dancing. Jason Kennedy: Am I blushing? I have, no. Tom Felton: A little bit. -- bit concealing, and it was like -- Jason Kennedy: We have a fan question. Thankfully we can transition this to something else. This is from Stormy Jacks. How does it feel to have finished all seven movies? Tom Felton: It’s a huge honor and I feel great. I feel very proud of what we have much to achieve, not just for myself but for the whole entire group of casts from the start when we were subteen herds, and we’re still here now laughing especially to Daniel, Rupert, and Emma. I mean, they’ve carried this whole franchise on their back for the last 10 years and do it completely effortlessly. So I credit to them really. Jason Kennedy: You’ve done a great job Tom. Ben Lyons: It’s always good to see you Tom. I'm really happy you get to meet Jason now because this is my partner in our golfing challenge on Twitter. Tom Felton: Really? Is this -- Ben Lyons: Yes.
