The company’s website list set at $15,500 but they say it’s 100% refundable, no questions or strings attach. Human car says will begin production once they receive 800 pre orders okay maybe not the next big thing but it looks like a lot of fun. If you follow Green Tech you will know that everyone is talking about the bloom box, it was featured on 60 minutes this pass Sunday and now Green Tech Blogs are a buzz. Here are the facts, Bloom Energy is the company that makes the box, it’s a $700,000 fuel sale device that was reportedly twice as efficient as natural gas power transmitted through the grid. The device works by powering a bunch of thin package fuel cells. Each cell combines oxygen and fuel to create a chemical reaction that generates electricity. It can work off almost any kind of fossil fuel or renewable fuels like landfill or biogas. Big businesses like Google, eBay and Wal-Mart are testing amount now. The company has official press conference was on Wednesday so we can count on here and a lot more about this. There was notable mention that mobile world congress in Barcelona last week and yes it is green. Promo showed off there new phone affectionately titled The Puma Phone. It has a 2.8 inch touch screen and a built in solar charger on the back. Pretty ordinary specs but the user experience offers a slow of sport features, it can track how far you run or bike using GPS, there is also a cute digital Puma name to deal in but unlike gigapets you want to have to feed or walk in. solar stills our expensive to make but the smarty’s at California instituted technology say they discovered away to make them cheap and efficient to the naked ID sales look like tiny pins or hairs and then more solar cells you to expect fancy expensive materials. Tops the company that makes traditional cards has created the card that utilizes a web cam, when you hold your card in front of a web cam using Tops town website you will seen an overlaid 3D projection of the player plus there stats and some imaging of there place. Tops is calling this augmented reality, I sent this story to some fantasy baseball that I know and may seem pretty excited about it. The secret will be letting it work with all trading card which maybe possible with an RFID chip and a reader something like that. I doubt that will actually happen for old cards but I like this idea for all cards moving forward. Microsoft is launching a cooling base for laptops; this is something I expect at QVC not Microsoft but okay. The base will come equip with the cooling fun and rubber grips, one neat feature is that its USB powered which may or may not drain the heck out of your laptop battery. The base will cost 2995 and should be available sometime in July. Metro PCS is trying to shed its reputation for cheaply phones, the company will soon sell the Blackberry curve 8330. They only sell it in select market such as Atlanta, Dallas, LA, San Francisco and Sacramento but the plans will cost between 30 and $60 which is cheap for a smart phone plan. Metro PCS is a prepaid carrier that usually caters to the lower income market, the company COO Tom Keys that he expects to have Blackberry’s in stores by the second or third quarter of this year. Apparently you too has did Apple for research in motion as there sponsor for there upcoming tour. The bands relationship with Apple was very public and iPod commercials years back and U2 even perform that an Apple event in 2004 but the honeymoon seems to be over and RIM is taking Apple’s place. The bands manager that the share of between RIM and U2 will lead to new and innovative ways to enhance mobile music on the Blackberry for U2 fans which probably just means that RIM took over more money. Google has decided it can no longer put the bill for third party apps that let users send free text messages from its network. Previously iPhone apps like infinite SMS allows users to send an unlimited number of text messages by routing messages through a portion of Google Talks API instead of do your carrier. However this left Google pane for the sending fee giving the current economic climate even Google is in immune and simple decided that they don’t wan to pay for someone else as text messages.
