Discover O'Connell Street in Dublin Ireland Daniel O'Connell was the first Irish Parliamentary representative. The road that is today the north-south axis of the town has been named in his honor. The newest point of interest in O’Connell Street is the light column which is 120 meters high and was made of stainless steel. The diameter of its foundation is three meters while on top only a 10-centimeter lens reflects the light of the sun.
