Male: There are source subject with a lot of guides in anglers mainly because we all have been the victims of inexperience and ignorance, or just down right rude actions on the part of boaters and for that matter wading anglers. As a boater the wading angler has the right of way unless for some reason or other if his fishing in the middle of the loading ramp. Common sense and common courtesy the commodities that are not so common sometimes should be how you judge to handle any particular situation on the river. Female: If you’re floating down the river passing or wading your bank angler move to the other side of the river. Don’t cast in front of them and give the other angler a couple of hundred yards a bank downstream before moving dock on to the bank. If there happened to be anglers on both sides of the river move to the center and give them both that amount of room downstream. On a small river wading anglers can be a bit of a dilemma for the boater. If the wader is out on the stream and there’s room and water sufficient to pass behind them then do so. If you can’t you can’t, so pass their in front apologize and wish them a nice day. Male: It’s amazing how far we’ll go a simple apology. Overtaking another boat give them as much room as you can and once passed don’t jump in front of them just take the other bank for a while, ideally until you’re out of sight. On most rivers, the one side maybe more desirable, both sides have fish on them. When you change sides of the river you have to make sure you’re not cutting off another boat coming down the side in which you wish to change, either wait for them to pass or stay on your current side
