Electric Race Car Logistics Alexander Schey: It’s Thursday morning. The whole is assembled and they gathered through a very important meeting with David Mallinson who is a senior representative from Hellman Worldwide Logistics. They are a massive logistics company who are interested in sponsoring the project by transporting the car to and from the Americas so a very important meeting to see if we can now that’s crucial sponsorship. Everything you see here, it has the wires, the garage even, all those batches has been 100% sponsored. David Mallinson: How heavy are cells? Alexander Schey: Each cell is about 3.3 kilos. This whole pack is 530-540 kilos. The car in total weight is 1100 and so very similar to a normal car. David Mallinson: Well, I think the airline would then like to do this place this truck through these two sections in the way -- Alexander Schey: And we had a long discussion about it that actually logistics, how it would work, so they’re really getting into the detail now and it just looks better every second talking about how the cost to be unloaded on the plane, how it’s going to get strapped down, how is it going to be finally unloaded in Argentina. It’s an amazing feeling now to actually see the logistics part of it coming together. David Mallinson: The only real worry that I have is the bureaucracy that you might encounter enroute to get this car to Buenos Aires and then recover it after the event and improved our buy and recovery routine fair back to Alaska. Back to this garage here, I really don’t see a problem at this particular point in time. It’s just to be in the middle of the discussion I had about. Alexander Schey: Yeah well, I mean we’ve taken kind of over the fact. If other people can do it, we can do it. David Mallinson: Absolutely. Alexander Schey: And what we’ve done so far is something that other people haven’t done yet so crossing some borders should be alright now.
