Firefox Context Menus Explained

The context menu, AKA the right-click menu, offers some commonly used shortcuts in Firefox like bookmarking and saving pages, sending links to friends and some power-user features. The context menu options change based on where you right-click, hence the name.

Today, I'm going to show you a few things about the context menu in Moxilla Firefox. The context menu is sometimes called the right click menu, it's the menu that appears when you right click on something. Here, I've right click on a blank spot on this webpage and so the context menu gives me options relevant to the page. For example, I can reload the page, bookmark it, save a copy of it to my hard drive or send a link to it as an email. The view page info option shows me more information about the page and its contents. If I right click on the link, its context menu will give me options relevant to that link but when we open it into a new window or tab, bookmark it or save it to my hard drive, send it as an email or copy its address to my clipboard, so I can paste it into a document later. Right clicking on an image gives me even more options—which is also a link it gives me some of the same options as the link did. But it also gives me a few image specific options. But when we viewed the image on a tone, copy its address to my clipboard, save it or set it as my desktop background. With copy image, I can copy it to my clipboard and then paste it into a program if I want a play around of it. So, that’s just the few other things you can do with context menus in Moxilla Firefox.
