Fishing for Smallmouth Bass with Jerk Bait Dan Hernandez: What’s pulling all these fish? Terry Jones: Do you see the opening, you see the bigger rocks. It’s the big boulders, they heat up more and they bring the fish in. You’ll see sand and gravel and big boulders. Dan Hernandez: But it’s actually more heat generated by those boulders. Terry Jones: Correct. Dan Hernandez: They hold the heat? Terry Jones: Yes, exactly. So what we want to do is get in and you’ll find pockets in between here. And that's why these fishes are going to line. Dan Hernandez: I thought they were like hiding underneath the boulders like ambush thing? Terry Jones: They do that too but it’s also creates more warm and a lot of these areas, there is gravel on the corner of the big rocks and that's why they like to lie. Dan Hernandez: And then later in the year, these fish will move in inside close to the beach season, this far or month. Terry Jones: There we go. There we go! Nice! Nice!
