Transcript
Hi! This is Keir Johnson with Catalyst Skateboards. I’m showing you the fundamentals of skateboarding. The trick I’m going to show you right now is the back side and front side rock and roll. It’s very similar to the kick turn. In this case, you’re going to ride up the ramp all the way. Approach the leap, basically rock your truck over and then turn back into the ramp. The back side is easier, you just ride up. You use your back foot to pivot on the wheel, square your shoulders and ride back in. For a front side rock and roll, it’s the same deal, you approach the coping, rock your truck over and then turn behind you, pivoting on your wheels and roll back into the ramp; that’s the back side and front side rock. Alright guys, this is Keir Johnson with Catalyst skateboards. Let’s just wrap it up for our fundamentals skateboarding today. I hope you learned a few things, make sure you’d be safe out there, watch out for cars and pedestrians and have fun.
