Generationals Band Interview StyleCaster+Generationals Ted Joyner Guitar/Keys/Vocals Grant Widmer Guitar/Vocals Michael Libramento Keys/Vocals Tess Brunet Drums.Vocals Ted: I started listening to Beatles when I was about 10 and then like gone to the Stones and Hendrix, Zeppelin, Floyd, The Monkeys. Grant: I got a guitar when I was 14 I think and started playing in— I took lessons for a few months and then I quit the lessons and I was pretty sure that I had like figured it out. I didn’t need lessons anymore. Michael: I guess I got started with the generation and all this, they posted a Craiglist add looking for like a hot keyboard player. Tess: I really envy people that are able to sit down and actually write something for like 30 minutes a day I really have to be inspired. Ted: I don’t know I’m still working on that. I wish I had like a really good healthy creative process. It’s kind of just like when stuff comes to you it does. Michael: Yeah usually I’m like playing guitar in front of the TV and or just like in my room or something you know and then a song will accidentally start to write itself and then I usually don’t finish it. Brent: It’s the city that I think we look forward to playing in as much as any other city because I feel like this is kind of a place where people who like our music have seem to congregate most. Tess: There’s lots of things I love about being in a band but particularly what I love about being in this band is that I don’t think I’ve ever loved my band mates as much. [Performing]
