AP news is free you can download it from the App store, once you have installed on your iPhone just tap on icon. The first time it will prompt to use your location so it can configure local news and weather. So tap on okay, so we can do that. Then go into customize, now you can configure whether you have different things on or off. There is a huge range of categories top news, local, sports, showbiz, wacky, there is probably 20 varieties of sports that you can configure from college sports to soccer to golf to tennis. If you tap on local you get all stories that pertain to your local area which is based on you zip code where you live. So mine happens to show things happening in Tennessee. If you tap on the next thing on the bottom under categories you see specific news categories and what you can do is if you are interested in technology for example like I'm, you can tap on that and you will see all technology related news and information which can be quite handy because you can narrow down the news to see exactly what you want rather than just top stories. If you tap on the weather you see a nicely configured weather forecast what your weather is now and what is going to be for the next week. If you tap on the glow icon up at the top right corner you will see this current weather conditions shown in more detail like the real feel of the weather is a 102. If you tap on the radar looking icon you get a radar display for your area at this moment and lastly if you tap on the more option you get search, saved items, settings you can send feedback to the AP and more.
