How Joe Lives Over 100 Years I was born in 1905—I remember there was a monitor in the hallway and you put a quarter in the meter and then you turn on the gas—you have to put a quarter in the middle. It's a little difficult sometimes with the circulation that a younger person has. My blood pressure is good, my heart is good, but I wish I could walk a little bit more better. I always knew what we have, I wanted to have at least a second marriage, but when my wife passed away I just couldn’t move on. I wasn’t interested in any old lady and the young chicks have no interest in me. Not that I have never looked at a young chick but we have all our own faults. I love my great-great kids, they are the best, and they don’t know how much happiness they give me when they put their arms around me and they sing. I lived my life as far as I’m concerned; life has been pretty good to me.
