This is a term that's used to measure the impact of person or an object has when it comes to a global climate change. In other words, it's the total amount of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide that's emitted during its entire lifecycle, and pretty much everything has a carbon footprint. Now the trick, of course, is finding ways to reduce that footprint through energy efficiency, recycling and changing a few habits.
