How to Find Fonts on the Internet Well a lot of times if you're designing your own stationary or maybe a graphics document, you’ve been inspired by a font that you’ve seen somewhere else. You know, the actual type style. Well, how do you find it with that type style is? Well, there's a service I've come across that’s called My Fonts and they have a service called What the Font? Essentially by going to their website, you can go their What the Font section. Click on it and it's going to now ask you to either upload a file of the font that you’ve seen, maybe you’ve scan in something or you can actually give them the URL of the font that you’ve seen. So for example, I'm going to use our Get Connected TV font off of our You Tube page. And to get it, all you have to do is right click over the image that has the font or type style in it and then choose the copy image URL and go back here to the What the Font webpage and paste it in. And what's going to happen now, I hit continue. It's actually asking me to help it out a little bit with some of the characters. You can see it's recognized some of the thing like the “G” but I'm just going to help it along here and type in what it’s asking for. And now it’s going through its database to see and compare it against other fonts that it knows. And it’s giving you a whole bunch of choices here. And as you can see, is you get a down a list that actually gets closer and closer. A lot of times you know these are customized fonts but in most cases, it can get you a pretty close match. Great way or great resource to find out that type style that you’ve seen or that’s inspired you and perhaps use it in your own documents as well.
