How to Group Tracks - Ableton Live

Hello! I am Rude NHS and these are some videos what I made, showing what I do with software. One thing you could do when you group tracks in Live 8 is that you can trigger clips in that group track as you would trigger scene. Say a groups, some stuff here and I’ve got a lot of clips here, so I can trigger all these scenes which is really good because I can do this independently if the mask has the same is selector which means that if I trigger a group of clips or a scene, I’m free to trigger other things that say in a different place. Say these are kind of like a bunch of brakes and just sounds that I’ve assigned to keys on my keyboard that I can trigger live. So if I say trigger this scene here, thus [Music Playing]. I can now go and trigger other clips such as these once [Music Playing]. And also when you group a whole lot of tracks into one track, you’re free to kind of use the same keyboard commands to trigger as many different clips and tracks as you want because they’re all groups. So say in this group here, I’ve got one track which is a bunch of breaks and then I’ve got another track which is just single hits, which I’ve assigned with the quantized of 16th. So no matter when I hit them, they’ll always trigger the next available 16th beats [Music Playing] which is pretty cool.
