How to make a Grey Goose L'Orange Cosmopolitan using Grey Goose L'Orange flavored vodka, cranberry, and lime.

Hi I'm Steve Calibro and today I'm going to show you how to make a classic cocktail, the Grey Goose L’Orange Cosmopolitan. Four ingredients is very, very simple. Start with your mixing glass full of ice, we’re going to use the juice of half of fresh lime. Whenever you're making cocktails, put the fruit in first. The alcohol wash over it and grab some of the flavor from the peel. To this we’re going to add some Grey Goose L’Orange which is an orange flavored vodka. I want to talk about this for a minute because a lot of people mistakenly think this is an infusion. This is not an infusion. This is a maceration. Maceration means they take, for all the oranges, all of the peel and very little of the flesh. They cold soak that. After that process, the concentrated fruit distills are then blended to the Grey Goose original vodka. The result is a beautifully flavored orange vodka. Now I'm going to add three parts of this orange vodka. Let that wash over the limes and pick up some of the flavor. Now I'm going to add premium orange liqueur to that and now to finish it off, we’re going to put just a little bit, a few dashes of cranberry juice. You don’t want a blood red drink, you just want a very beautiful pink drink. This is a cocktail so we can shake it. Again, that’s a beautiful, beautiful pink color, not too red. We’re going to finish this off with a little bit of orange peel, there you go, a classic cocktail perfect for home entertaining. That’s the Grey Goose L’Orange Cosmopolitan.
