How To Mix Beats: 3 Types of Bass Speakers

This is a brief description on Bass Cabs. They are a bit more complicated than just speakers in a box you know.

Yes Folks, right, this is a bit of a quick description on base tabs on how they made what they do and what type of base cabs that calls a lot of people think that a base cabs is just a speaker of box but this was a different types. I will show you three different types. This one here is called the long through speaker, okay? Now this is a cross section in other words from cut straight to it and this one is the speaker. So when you look at it, you just see the speaker like that. The reason is a long through is that when the speaker moves out pushed, you get movement here, and you get sound traveling this way. But also when the speaker goes back in you almost have sound traveling backwards said. Now what happen is that backward motion goes around here and as it is traveling around the speaker, it gets amplified goes out faster and pushes on this way. Now this is a long first speaker in other words, what happen to this is that sound will travel a greater distance than a small or even it have the same size but not with the design like this inside. This is the basis will the basic design of a long through speaker. So in other words, all that is here would be word and this time we would go along here around hit baffle bolds inside and then around. You may have heard of a skewed base bin or W base bin but they are basically called long through. These guy here a very good like I said very quickly portraying base a long distance. But from a deficiency point of view, if you do pushed them too hard you can blow the speakers, alright? And also this very heavy very difficult to carry around. This one here is just a basic forward facing speaker, you have the two speakers here and you have a little port toward in the center and the sound will travel all around here and come out the front. That is how they look like from the front and you have the speakers there and there is the center of the speakers and the two small holes are your poles. These sorts of speakers are ideal for club installation and band installation. Want to say band installation for bands and moderately big size than use. Now the other one which is what I have is the best part of the speaker also known as the band past. Now that looks a bit best design but is a very simple design what you have here is an enclose box. There is the speaker, now hen speaker moves out, okay? Because you have got an enclose box if the speakers has moved out, this part here is almost causing a vacuum in here. So has to be fold back really quickly. Here, you have another chamber and then that is the pole. Now what happen is this is tuned chamber to the speaker. Here we are going to go in to very details but there is no point going to that at this particular point. If you look at that from a front view, the dotted line is the speaker behind big baffle volt which is here, and then those dots there the big black dots at the pole and that is where the sounds comes from. Now ideally, these speakers they can be made relatively small. You can have 15 inch 12 inch, 10 inch, you may find you have what’s most band fast bit because in call high fi’s etc. have a lot of box. And I know what they call band fast because you do get very good sub base. And I will recommend any mobile DJ or if you want that forget your scope, forget you W been if you get your self a couple of band fast base cobs they do kick ass. Alright, so why are these items uses? Alright, let us say you own it. What you are looking at that is big music holes outside that bends anything like that when it got before the sound a great distance. Then you are looking at this guys here which are basically you run of the mail again they can be very expensive but there are ideals for smooth small mobile discos or in night clubs where the sound does not have to travel so far. Band fast again small night clubs where the sound does not have to travel as far but then again these guys here do kick ass and they can go down to very low frequencies and they do sound awesome.
