Hey guys John here with the review of Ilife08 sorry it took long to get this up. I wanted to make sure that I have chance to use it well enough to actually review with some degree of substance. So let’s start with I-web, the old I-web was a great program for making websites it was too fancy, you have a couple of themes and you can easily publish to (.MAC) but it was very difficult to publish to another using a another hosting server. So use another domain that was in a MAC domain, you have to save all the files – and upload them bftp. The new I-web take care of that, it’s actually very easy now to use I-web to make a website for you own domain. It’s actually built right into the program of PC cake so that is certainly a nice feature. Add it also are the things called web widgets which are very handy, gives you the ability to add Google maps if you try to map the location that are people trying to get to where ever site advertises real handy. There is a thing that is called shape, you can add some nice shapes nice and easily and it just makes much easier, and addition to all that they are several more themes which really make finding what you want you website to look like a little bit easier. Like I-web before it took me an advance web-building program, but for something amateur, quick and easy it is great. I build a website for my family took an hour up load some albums it was nice and easy so keep that in mine as well. Alright the –so actually give a review here, out of ten I give the new I-web a nine, I like the old I like the new one only make it better, so iweb08 thumbs up. Next one let you check out is barrage band, if you want to see videos of all these programs in action. I mean you can see on my screen if I set it up that way but it is much easier just to go to apple and actually look at the program itself and check out the demos will give you a better sense. You need to give me ten minutes so I can get all of the videos and programs in action in 10 minutes anyway. Garage band I never really use – I don’t web music editing but I did play around at this one. And It got something called magic garage band which is really cool it sets that stage for you with all kinds of music. And you can pick a genre that you like Jazz, Blues, Rock if you like country and things like that. You can choose the instruments that go along with it and you can record you own tracks. It’s very handy, I can't really review garage band for you for I don’t use, I really don’t know how to use it. But I have people to come over to my place that knows how to use it and they really so because of them I will give an eight out of 10. Amazing to be really happy with the changes so thumbs up for garage band if you use that. The next program is the one that I use the most I-photo, I thought the old I-photo was great it’s nice and easy to use, nice way, to organize your photos into albums. There’s some changes with I-photo, the first one is the thing called events. And what it does is every time you plug in the digital camera or import photo it sees whether there is a break in a camera whether you have an hour or two hours. Will break that up into events, it’s supposed to be an easy way to search, I don’t like the events. I’d rather set it up myself than have the computer to inform me, they don’t know where I was, they don’t know what that I shoot at things, kind a little bit annoying. It’s easy to not use if you don’t like it, so if you do like it. It’s a nice feature if not – when you are looking at in events album then you click your mouse and you put the little cursor over it the picture start to shuffle it which is kind of neat. That’s one new feature with I-photo another new feature are your web galleries and if you have a (.MAC) account. What that does is it let’s you upload pictures to a web gallery now you can do that before with the old I-photo. But now you can actually give people the ability to upload photos to your galleries themselves, you can setup a online web gallery and send an email to people. And let them email pictures to that email address and when they do the pictures automatically show up on the web gallery. You can let them download it at high res or low res or whatever it is that you want, is a very cool feature also from your iPhone. You can now upload pictures to the web gallery which is kind of cool too if you have an iPhone for United States at least. So that is a very nice feature of I-photo, other than that things haven’t really change so much. Some of the editing features are more advance now you can choose the size the retouching of things like that. But that’s nice I love I-photo before I give I-photo a 10 thumbs up there. Now the biggest change to the, programs is I-movie, and that is going to cause the most controversy with people. I like I-movie 06 that is the first one I learn how to us, I movie08 adds some new features if you have a hard drive with video camera, now you can import to I-movie. You can do that before and you can now directly to YouTube, which is, a nice feature actually used the direct YouTube for the keyboard on boxing so you can check that out. You can see a kind of letter box that you know that shark it down, just little of knowing but it id work well and you sign into YouTube account and head upload and does all in that for you. I will eliminate the steps so that is nice, other than that there’s very little that I like about the new imovie. I don’t recommend it all. Some of the themes are very good and some of them are not even there, everything seems to be – two steps behind or takes an extra step to do things to input videos, seem to take infinitely longer. You know the fact that you can take your mouse and scroll over the clips and the clips will start playing, isn’t that cool to me. I know in the clip setting anyway, so that’s kind of cursory overview of imovie and that wasn’t so completely catch we are looking for. But general opinions as well we will give this one a made do a just I movie later on for you but I-movie gets a thumbs down. Get maybe a four out of ten it works; I think it works well as imovie06. I am using imovie06 to make this just to all will use your program. I-DVD not really change that much got a couple of new themes; it’s a burn DVD and few more options but nothing terribly drastic. I-DVD is a great program, easy way to burn movies, high recommended give an eight out of 10 thumbs up to I-movie. So that’s it guys this is a real quick overview here I've done. Seven almost seven eight minutes, I don’t have much time left. YouTube cuts me off at 10 so that’s why I have to be a little bit short here but overall the new I-life media is very good. If you use it for photos or if you use garage band and burn DVD and especially if you make web pages, if you are looking to buy it for upgrade to I-movie don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money. I don’t think it worth it, but if you use everything else other than I-movie is absolutely worth it. The new I-web is approved to be just amazing and I use quite frequently, so anyway guys that’s it thank you for watching thanks subscribing.
