There is an exciting new foam installation that you use around windows and doors. Hi, I am Tim Carter, and this new spray foam installation stays permanently flexible so that it does not squeeze against the windows and door jams causing them to get tight and have all kinds of problems. Be sure to buy the right polyurethane foam installation. One type gets rigid after it cures and the one I am using around windows and doors, its stays flexible. This expanding foam installation bonds well to vinyl, wood and metal surfaces. It is a great thing to use to stop air leaks between windows, doors and rough framing. Do it yourself foam installation is really easy. Always read the instructions on the label of the product and use rubber gloves and safety glasses. Only fill the cracks halfway with the urethane foam installation as it will expand to fill the rest of the gap. Be sure you wear old clothes when you are working with the spray foam installation. Last year, I ruined this brand new shirt while I was up in my attic working with a foam installation. I am Tim Carter for AsktheBuilder.com
