The advice that I give to women who are dealing with osteoporosis is number one is you’ve got to start taking care of yourself. We are in a generation, especially young women, they predicted there’ll be more cases of osteoporosis with young women than ever before because of the fact that this whole propensity for thinness. And what I tell high school students and what I do when I go to the community centers, I tell them don’t drink too much coffee, caffeine, soda, and have a balanced diet. Stop trying to be way too thin, you can be too thin. You can absolutely be too thin, that’s one of the things that I tell them when I go out in public.
