Jawbone 2 Bluetooth Headset- Unboxing
Hey guy, Jon Rettinger here. I've got an unboxing for you of the Jawbone noise cancelling bluetooth headset sent to me courtesy of the good folks at MyGearStore.com. Let’s go ahead and get to it.
I'm really excited to use this. I had the chance to demo the original Jawbone and find it to be actually to be a fantastic headset but it was a little bit big and it wasn’t so pocketable. It really reduced the size with the Jawbone 2 so I'm hoping that it will take care of some of my concerns. So let’s do usual unboxing and take a look around the box here.
Jawbone ear wear is kind of a soft plastic and you can see it suspended on top there, nothing on the side. On the back, voice activated censor, feels your speech. Jawbone noise assassin, best in class military grade audio processing technology.
It let me virtually all background noise and provides at standing voice clarity. It is very cool. The talk time over four fours, standby at eight days, range at least 33-feet. It supports Bluetooth 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0. It really is a very nice presentation too. It looks very elegant sitting in the plastic. Let’s go ahead and open this thing up.
There is a little sticker right there. And to say thank you to all of the Jon4lakers viewers, the guys at MyGearStore.com have set up a 10% discount for everything at their store. I’ll put a link to it in the side bar. If you’re interested in the headset or any other products that they have there, you get a ton of accessories for Apple products, Mac books, iPod, iPhone and other bluetooth paraphernalia. So be sure to go ahead and check it out and they will give you 10% off with everything in their store.
Let’s go ahead and open this thing up. There we go. So pull back that kind of plastic piece and nothing else is inside in there or a cardboard piece rather. Nice and glossy and it eliminate noise.
Welcome to a whole new talk, power up and plug-in, pair and share. It’s that easy. All right. It kind of looks better just in the plastic and to deal with the little black cardboard on it. But let’s see. Let’s open this up. It looks like it—the box just opened straight up.
I got a small cardboard box inside. Slide that open. You got all the charging paraphernalia here, you can see that inside. So, there’s the little brick for the wall with the USB port and let us see if this is a proprietary connector or if it is just Mini Micro USB.
Oh, that is totally proprietary, looks like the headset slides right in there. It is pretty interesting. Okay. And there are a little bit of instructions in the book. Prior, take a look it had a pair. Let’s put all that aside and get to the good stuff. Another little book— the headset itself.
I've been using the Apple Bluetooth headset for about two years since I got the original iPhone. It has been pretty good but noise cancelling is something I'm really looking forward to. When I'm driving in my car people always say they can hear noise. I'm hoping that this will take care of that problem. And it comes right out. It really is a gorgeous presentation. It is a very small headset. I'm going to take it out, put it down and see what else we have in the box.
There’s one last little box here. I think this is probably ear gels or ear buds or something to make it look comfortable and customizable. Yup, we got more ear loops and a few different gels for your ear and there’s a couple other ear loops in the back. Let’s take a look at the headset itself and do a real quick size comparison.
So, here it is. It does look relativity small. It has got that tiny little nipple looking thing that actually sits right on your—appropriately jawbone and that’s where all the voice comes from. It’s actually very cool. And there is a hidden button right there too which is pretty neat.
So as I mentioned, the iPhone to the size comparison with the iPhone even though they’re not that closer related. But if you’re familiar with the size of the iPhone, you can see how big or how small the Jawbone 2 really is so, it is not bad.
Anyway guys, I hope you enjoyed the un-boxing. Be sure to check out Twitter for exclusive contents and some heads-up on new un-boxing and video at twitter.com/Jon4lakers. And thank you again to the folks at MyGearStore.com for hooking it up. See you guys in next video. Bye-bye.
Hey guys. So, I just finished filming the un-boxing. I plugged it in and I noticed that there’s a really cool red light that shows up right there. I didn’t even know there was an LED indicator. It looks pretty hidden when it’s not plugged-in so it is very cool. I wanted to show you guys that. There it is from the side. See you guys in the next video. Bye-bye.
