Description
On the night after he told NBC News of his concerns about opposition to President Obama fueled by race, Former President Jimmy Carter said at a town hall meeting at Emory University: "I think people who are guilty of that kind of personal attack against Obama have been influenced by a major degree by a belief that he should not be President, because he happens to be African-American. It's a racist attitude... My expectation is, that in the future, both Democratic leaders and Republican leaders will take the initiative in condemning that kind of unprecedented attack on the President of the United States."

Is Jimmy Carter Right About Israel?

Jimmy Carter is wrong to make a direct parallel between Israel and the former South African apartheid system. Most obviously the demographics don\'t work. Whites were a minority in South Africa. Obama and the Racist Voter - Another Bradley Effect?

President Jimmy Carter Has Lost All Sense Of Propriety

The Barack Obama Dilemma

It is not the right moment on our republic\'s time-line for a black man to be elected to the nation\'s highest office. All of the current indicators present a dismal hope for such a man as Obama, who, though a good and decent public servant, is opposed by many hateful white closet and openly declarative bigots with their antebellum attitudes and prejudices. If anything, Obama\'s run in the 2008 election will serve to again divide the Democratic voters into several camps, allowing neo-conservatism and Republican Party to prevail....

Former Democrat President Jimmy Carter Meets With Bolivia's Evo Morales - Typical!

President Obama has not met personally with Evo Morales of Bolivia and there is a bit of animosity between the two countries now ever since Bolivia\'s President kicked out our ambassador, accused us of spying and told us they did not want our assistance in stopping the drug smugglers there. After all, Bolivia is trying to get the coca leaf, used to make cocaine by crushing it into white powder, off the list of drugs by the international community anyway....
