John Edwards: Any award is so important for Land Rover but the Scottish Car of the Year award is particularly important because Scotland’s a natural home for Land Rover. We have many of our launch events here. We’ve got great low customers. We’ve got great low dealers. Stephen Park: There is a number of creativity out for their awards including the value for money, drive and appeal, quality, style and ultimately, built in Scottish market place. Bill Caven: The discovery for really exciting—when it comes to transporting and a new—say a very versatile, it’s low in emissions, fuel efficiency has improved dramatically. Stephen Park: It flies very well, always talented off roads but extremely talented onwards. It does everything very, very well but we don’t believe those until we—Rover on sale today. John Edwards: 20 years ago, we launched Discovery, it’s just a very best off car and it’s evolved massively during its time in the marketplace. Bill Caven: This company was—choice when it came to be SUV category. It face a variety of contenders but the overall take them, but in the end, I think we were all swept by the quality and the fact to have the—the Discovery has moved on in such a credible fashion. Stephen Park: People question the wisdom of an SUV, taking the tough corner but that is clearly as no would complete—we believe it’s not really what we want to. John Edwards: When we were nominated for Car of the Year, we were really thrilled but given the competition out there to actually win it, it’s brilliant. So, it did the right car win, yeah discovery for Car of the Year, thank you.
