image source: Tinhte BY EVAN THOMAS The season of flagship phone refreshes is nearly upon us. The iPhone 5 could show up in June, according to some sources, and Samsung’s latest offering is widely expected in May. Time for some leaks! German tech site Android Next has a screengrab of Amazon Germany . The site is showing a listing for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy phone, and it details some of the phone’s specifications. This isn’t technically official, and the Verge says the details are a little suspect . Take the inbuilt memory, for example. “The phone's storage is listed as 16GB, 'expandable up to 32GB,' which would seem to be an arbitrary limitation if a microSD slot is included. Then again, only partial information is provided, and it could be simply indicating that a 32GB variant will be available.” But the phone — unofficially called the SIII — is coming. And it might have already been spotted in the wild. The Next Web has purported video of the device , from Vietnamese leak site Tinhte. In the video, the device is running a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a gig of RAM, near-field communication and Android 4.0. Tinhte notes the casing is modified to disguise the phone’s actual lines. And Pocket Lint trusts Tinhte . The site has nailed iPhone rumors in years past. “Any other source and we'd be crying fake, but this time - also considering the site's specific page has already been removed - we're inclined to believe that the phone in the shot has, at the very least, the guts of the new Samsung device…” But the exterior remains shrouded in mystery — and blue fabric. Samsung Denmark has this intriguing image on its Facebook page. That May 3rd date is when Samsung is scheduled to unveil the SIII, at a special event in London.
