I have been dealing with web servers since at least 1996. I have got my own web boxes now, my own dedicated servers, and I am hosting my web stuff through webair. They are a good provider, very friendly, very helpful, and maybe able to work out a deal for you if you need to change web hosts for web services. I can put you in touch with the guy in charged over there. So, you do not have to deal with any salesperson. Just go directly to the guy. Then I also deal with rockspace, too, for a lot of my exchange stuff and I am happy with both of the places, to tell you the truth. And I have worked out some pretty nice deals for me, and I said well if anybody else comes to me and ask me where they should go, can I give them a special deal. So, come through me, I will figure out how to get a deal cut for you. Now, have ever gone—do a website only to see that it was done, it was not working. Well, it is because it is on the computer and computers have problems sometimes. Sometimes it is software, sometimes it is hardware. Today, as a matter of fact, we will run in to an issue where the hard drive or one of the hard drives filled up and so nothing would work. That kind of freaked me out a little. I have got a couple of ideas about how to change that in the future but everything did not work and people are in chat telling me, “Hey, your server went down.”, they were aiming at me, your server went down, I cannot get through to this, that and other thing, very helpful, very nice. Now, let us say you have got a web server, you have got a web hosts. You have got some kind of site, you have got a website, or blog or what not. How do you check to make sure it is up? Well, you could either check it every minute or so or you can rely on a service to do the checking for you. And I personally rely on two services that are absolutely free. I started using them a couple of years ago for all of our websites, live.pirillo.com, chris.pirillo.com, tagjag.com, lockerdome.com, and this kind of goes onandon.com. Two sites, the first one, montastic.com and the second one is as pistol web, just type in mon.itor.us. Montastic is one word, monitor us is broken up differently. And in issue these sites, you can go and you can register and you give an email address or set of email addresses and websites that you want to monitor. And when that site, that you are on, that web address goes down, it will let you know through email. And it works wonders. In some cases, I will discover the sites are down the four, they actually go down and in some cases, I find out through an email notification from either mon.itor.us or through montastic. I am getting email saying this is not working, I will check them why indeed it is not working and either of, get a hold of my web server hosts at webair or I will talk directly with Allan, who works for thunderIT.com. He is also hangs out and vent through here on the chat. He has got his little logo rotating through, you will see it. Magically appear here, these are all of our sponsors and partners that, there is his logo, thunderIT. So he helped figured out what the problem was today, we ran out of disk space. It happens. So, anyway, I felt I let you know about these two services, as I said before, they are free. There are services that you can pay for that give you a little more options and we would likely to let you know even sooner. I thought I was pretty quick when I got the emails from both of these services telling you that the sites were down. It is never a good thing when your website goes down because it is down. No one can get through to it. So anyway, I love those services. What about you?
