Porsche 918 Spyder - $630000 Hybrid Car

Porsche recently freshly revealed its electric concept car – their first plug-in hybrid ever. The mid-engined two- seat is run by both a 500-horsepower V8 and two electric motors which offer an additional 218 horsepower. According to Porsche, the 918 Spyder also has four different modes of power delivery. Moreover, this new special edition features new 918 Spyder prototype, an emission level of just 70 grams CO2 per kilometer on fuel consumption of three litres/100 kilometers (equal to 94 mpg imp). The car may also accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just under 3.2 seconds and owns a top speed of 198 mph. Porsche may price the luxury vehicle at $630,000, which would make the 918 Spyder Porsche's most expensive auto edition....

Citroën Survolt Concept Debuts at Le Mans Classic

On July 16th, Citroën Survolt strikingly appears on the tracks of Le Mans Classic racing event while this sports car was first introduced at the 2010 Geneva show. In terms of its specs, the Survolt is a 3.85 meter long coupe and features a frame formed from a full carbon body and a flat underside. The car is also equipped with a pair of electric motors that offers up to 300 HP. Specifically, power from this pair of electric motors is better for a top speed of 260km/h or 162 mph. Moreover, the car can accelerate from 0 km/h to over 100 km/h i.e. about 62 mph within approximately five seconds....
