Learning from the Hispanic Culture Paula’s Video Blog with the WIN Founder and CEO, Paula Fellingham Paula: Hello and thank you so much for joining me on this video blog. What I wanted to do today is share with you my love for the Hispanic people, the women, the Latina women, the Hispanic women and I have asked them before which would you rather be called they say oh no se importante. It doesn’t matter just call us whatever you want they love us. The reason I was just thinking about this today is because I have a huge blessing of having a few women be able to come to my home twice a month and they helped clean my home and they become really, really dear friends and as they come in they’re always Ola! And we give hugs and I’m trying to learn a little bit Spanish from them and they’re trying to learn a little better English from me but I love their hearts. I love that they are so passionate about life. We can learn so much from each other but I started a channel in fact we have a women’s celebrating life. This is some part of the women’s information network. They were bringing – and we’re also going to have a partner entity that’s called Muhere Sela Prando Lavida and that is Women Celebrating Life and these women celebrate life. I would like to suggest we can learn from others and especially today my heart is filled with love before the Hispanic women. I want you to know that 1 out of every two children in the kindergarten years right now 2010 in this school year one out of every 2 kindergarteners in the state of California is Hispanic 50% that is an absolute statistic and 20% so 1 out of every 5 children in the United States is Hispanic in this year 2010 kindergarten year so they are our neighbors they are our friends I love them, I want to be able to serve them better and I wanted to share my suggestion to you that you look at that culture, learn from it and also make a Hispanic friend if you haven’t done so because they’ll bless your life. And now may your whole day be field with Wins.
