ALWAYS Fresh Everyday, you are watching FAST LANE DAILY. Derek DeAngelis: Well Lexus LFA is officially official after years of hiding in our INTERNET RUMOR MILL. It's one of the few super cars to make a big deal in this global economic downturn. Will it get the recognition it deserves? Who knows, we don't, hell, all we do is just report on how badass the car is and this one is like a level nine basdassness. There you go. Also Subaru released the new design concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, a Coyote gets fits and news on the next RX7, all that and MY FIRST CAR, and in the second half of the show with Dutch, "You are like a Sophomore, and chicks are like, what are you doing? Just driving the car illegally." Interesting dude. What's up everybody, I am Derek D, you are checking out FAST LANE DAILY, it's Hump Day; yeah half the week is over almost. After years of speculation of couple of concepts, hundreds of spy shots, and a few 24 hour internal events as a prototype, Lexus has finally revealed the much anticipated Lexus LFA Supercar. We now know that the Lexus Beast will be upwards of 560 horse power and 254 lb-ft of torque by way of a 4.8 liter V10 power plant. Mated to this motor is a 6-Speed Sequential gear box and it will be a heifer because it weighs under 3,300 pounds. This means 0-60 will be achieved in 3.7seconds and it's top speed has been limited to 201 miles per hour, limited. Recall that beautiful sound? That's due to the 9000 rpm redline. So what do you guys think? Is it a stud or a dud, I am going with stud; well you guys comment down below and let us know. You want to see in here more of the LFA, check out fastlanedaily.com/blog for more pics and video. Also at the Tokyo Motor Show today is Subaru's Hybrid Tourer Concept. Now like most concepts, you won't be seeing any gull wings or 20 inch rims on a production Subaru anytime soon. Well Subaru missed that, what's cool about Subaru concepts is that they only shed some light on what future models will look like in the next year or two. Officials aren't keeping that a secret either though. According to Autoblog, one hinted that this is the new corporate face and design language for future models. Cool, it's inside bangle, editing not adding; cars have too many characters line now. Well if that be the case, we here at FLD are down with such future designs from Subi. As long as there is an another B9 Tribeca disaster. And if you drive a Honda Fit and a gaggle of coyotes run out in front of your car and you hit one, you may want to get out and check instead of assuming the thing is dead in a million pieces behind you somewhere. Near the Nevada-Utah border, a brother and a sister were going about 75 miles per hour in their Honda Fit when that exactly happened. Although the coyote wasn't in a million pieces, an eight-ten hours later when they stopped, they realized the Coyote was still alive and stuck behind the grill of the car. Actually it was more than just alive; it had no broken bones or internal injuries, just a couple of scrapes on his paw. The coyote was then brought to a Wildlife Rehab Facility where it managed to finagle its way out of its cage and escape. They named the coyote Tricky. When a roadrunner was asked to comment it, he said, "Wait, first off, his name isn't Tricky, it's Wily, and second, I try to kill his ass almost everyday, the bastard never dies, meep, meep." That's what he said, cool. And in the INTERNET RUMOR MILL, the Mazda beehive is abuzzing. Mazda's new Design Chief Ikuo Maeda, Ikuo Maeda, I said that right, Ikuo Maeda has given Autocar UK the scoop about the long rumored RX-7 replacement. Quotably saying, "We really want to have an RX-7 and if the market allows us to build it, we'll have it ready." Maeda has strongly hinted at pushing the higher ups at Mazda to green light the project as soon as possible. Maeda also stated the new RX-7 would be a two-seater and will most likely be powered by a rotary engine. We may not see anything at this year's Tokyo Motor Show but who knows may be we will be surprised. I love surprises, like surprise. You are never going be taller than 5-7, surprise. Wow, alright up next we got MY FIRST CAR segment where you talk about any insane or stupid stories you have had while owning your first car. That's up, right after this. Suck that in front of me. Male Speaker: Have a cigarette Derek D. Derek DeAngelis: See, I don't want to portray to kids that smoking is good; you cant keep it pearly whites if you smokes, so don't smoke unless you have got a canine. Male Speaker: A public service announcement from your friends at Fast Lane Daily. Derek DeAngelis: So we are just chilling in Union Square, I came across a man, Dutch right here. What's up Dutch? Dutch: Hi! Derek DeAngelis: How are you doing dude? Dutch: Chilling. Derek DeAngelis: You just hanging out? Dutch: Hanging out. Derek DeAngelis: Yeah, me too. Dutch: It's pretty nicer day, it's getting kind of cold. Derek DeAngelis: A little chilly. Oh that's right, what was your first car man that you had? Dutch: 89 MR2, Toyoto. Good for when you are fourteen. Derek DeAngelis: Fourteen, where do you live Kentucky? Dutch: No, it was grandma's. I didn't really have permission. Derek DeAngelis: What's one of the most - your most memorable story in that Toyoto MR2? Dutch: It would have to be my fifteenth birthday. Derek DeAngelis: Fifteenth birthday in a car, okay remember kids, get your license before you drive, just a little disclaimer, okay go on. Dutch: I picked up my girlfriend and my little brother, he's a -- Derek DeAngelis: Driving out with your little brother in a car that's not licensed, okay good go. Dutch: Yeah, we were riding around and there was a speed bump and we hit the speed bump and popped over the curve and we were riding down the street on the curve and on the speed bump, and we got stuck, it blew out the tire. And it's like 04:30 in the morning and we're like three blocks from my grandmother's house. Derek DeAngelis: What, alright, let me get this straight. Fifteen year old, 04:30 in the morning, you picked up your girlfriend and your brother. Dutch: Best part, my friends were all like Honda junkies, so I called up three of my friends and they came around and fixed the tire in like 20 minutes. Derek DeAngelis: You were like the bad boy high school chicks, you are like a Sophomore and chicks were like, what are you doing? Just driving the car illegally, 04:30 in the morning, man. Dutch: McGriddles. Derek DeAngelis: McGriddles. So what happened to that car Dutch? Dutch: It actually disappeared, it got stolen. Derek DeAngelis: That's crazy because I heard in Connecticut, this ghost - he is crazy. Dutch: Yeah people were out there building up Rice Burners, and stealing parts, and stupid -- somebody just stole it -- Derek De Angelis: And that's what happened? It got stolen? Dutch: Yeah. Derek DeAngelis: When I was fifteen, that's - it wasn't my scene, kind of, wish it was. I was just like playing Ninja Turtles or something - I don't know, what the hell I was doing. Dutch: Super Nintendo was good too. Derek DeAngelis: Super Nintendo, yeah definitely. Alright, Dutch, appreciate it man. Dutch: No problem. Derek DeAngelis: Thank you my friend, entertaining dude, MR2 and a Toyota when you are like fifteen. Wow Dutch, quite a character my friend but hey he is been driving to just fourteen so those who live in Connecticut, you are all the more safer; he's got more experience. Alright, well that about does with the FAST LANE DAILY today, I am Derek D; it's Hump Day, get over and remember, friend us on Facebook, alright because we are cool. Good bye His name is really Dutch Masters; I looked at his and everything, Dutch Masters. Dutch: I'll be on Facebook, I am there. Derek DeAngelis: Add him on Facebook; I am sure you will find a lot other people under Dutch Masters. Dutch: I am the one.
