LG KC780 - Review

Hi! Were about to introduce the on-the-budget camera phone the LG KC780 to you. That is considered the successor of the KC550. Unlike its predecessor it features an 8-megapixel camera. Its design will certainly not leave you breathless but we cannot say the phone is ugly either. The KC780 has a built-in round shapes but there is simply no way you’ve felt to notice the hump where the camera is. The KC780 supports at 2.4-inch QVGA resolution display that offers this into image quality even if the colors are not saturated enough. It doesn’t deliver the same screen quality outdoors but at least themes are mainly discernable and relatively easy to read. The buttons on the body and the keyboard are comfort to use. It just moves the back button was not that close to the D-pad. The interface is snappy, comfortable and identical to the LG KC550 and the only new things are the mini apps that had started to sort of big button when you're at the home screen. These are the clock, calendar and gallery and can be customize by setting different themes. The audio blare can filter your songs by artist, album and general or just show a list of all songs available in the device. It also features 10 preloaded equalizer presets and can work in the background. H263 videos with resolution of up to 720x304 pixels play smoothly but we are pretty disappointed that our prototype couldn’t recognize DiVX content, despite support for this must be present. The 8-megapixel camera offers quite many options through a nice pleasing interface. Unfortunately, it is far from being the fastest we have seen really. A single snapshot takes about 30 seconds and well a lot of patience. Although pictures have enough details, although colors look a bit thin in some of them. More than 90% of full indoor shots we have taken they're not noisy and look this are some filter here that have been placed in front of the camera. This is taken inside folks, the LG KC780 captures video at the maximum resolution of 720x480 pixels at 15 frames per second. Overall quality is totally the best of all, although we wish videos had more details to them. Of course the most important aspect of any form is its performance is being on a phone. We didn’t have any problems with the LG KC780. The voices are clear and distinctive. It's just that what we heard in our end was that theme of ought. All told the KC780 could have made for a great phone if it wasn’t for it's sluggish camera and inability to recognize DiVX files. Right now you can get the LG Renoir, Samsung Pixon, or Sony Ericsson C905 for about the same amount of money and all of these are better performers in our books.
