Lung Cancer Diagnosis - Family Support

Description

Melissa shares if anyone was with her when she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Transcript
I actually had two co-workers in the room with me and my boyfriend. And what happened was they were just in the room talking with me. The doctor came in and he didn’t say that he had big news or anything. He just asked if I minded if they were in the room and I have doctors coming in the room all the time so, I didn’t think it was a big deal and he shut the door behind him and laid the news on me and so, I think more than, maybe even more than me, they were completely just besides themselves with the news.
