Midomi is a song recognition app for the iPhone that lets you find any song that you're looking for by either grabbing it from the radio or television. Typing in the song name or artist name, same either of those two fields or singing or humming it yourself. We’re going to test out a few songs and see how Midomi does picking up which artist and song they are. Let's start with 10 minutes by the gt up tips. [Demonstration] Without being able to enter to the song Midomi may run into some issues as we see no results right there. Let's try another one, we’ll do this in the same, it's an Arms Raised by Fall Out Boy. [Demonstration] Again, that was the intro to the song well this time it picked it up. So, it may depend on how, obscure the music you're looking for is but that can kind of defeat the purpose of Midomi right there. And onceyou’ve find the song that you're looking for you click on it, it's going to load everything up. And it will actually play the clip if you click on the left hand side. When you click on the right hand side, it's going to bring you to a full profile which has You Tube videos and buy from iTunes, bookmarks here, artist info, album info. Overall, this application works fairly well it depends on what song you're looking for and where in the song you decide to record. The more active part of the song is obviously the better place to record but this is first thing application that you use on the go. So, we’re going to give these only 4.6 out of five stars.
