Facebook parenting. But some are asking — did an Ohio mom go too far in trying to discipline a daughter she says was acting out? “Denise changed her daughter’s profile to read, ‘I do not know how to keep my...’ The red x is meant to finish that sentence. ‘I am no longer allowed on Facebook or my phone. Please ask why. My mom says I have to answer everyone that asks.” Denise Abbott says — parents have to adjust their parenting to the times. But the ladies of The View are torn. “Do you want to be the first person that publicly defames your child on Facebook? Humiliates! I don’t think you do!” But here’s the thing — Denise Abbott’s technique might actually have worked. In an email to reporters, daughter Ava wrote... “I feel like I deserved it because I was mean to my mom and spoke disrespectful to her in front of my friends. ... I told the people that asked me and my mom why that I spoke to my mom mean when she was doing nice stuff for me and my friends.” According to WDIV, Denise says if Ava behaves, she’ll get her cell phone and Facebook back.
