Most Popular Products June 09 Tom Merritt: Hello! Welcome to CNET Top 5 where each time we meet, we count down another hot CNET list. I’m Tom Merritt. It is that time of the month to take a look at what product reviews you folks are visiting the most. These are the most popular products according to CNET visitors. So, let’s count them down. At number five is the Panasonic TC P50G10. It’s a 50-inch Plasma TV but David Katzmaier says “It’s the head of the class for 2009 TVs.” It’s also not a phone but the rest of the Top 5 are phones. Coming in at number 4 is the Samsung Impression for AT&T. Hey! It’s a new phone at least. It’s certainly pretty but riddle me this Samsung? How do you think you can get away with the proprietary headset for a smartphone in this day of age? Up to number three is the LG Versa for Verizon. It has a full HTML browser but somehow manages to make that worst and some of those little mini browsers in clamshell phones, no Wi-Fi either. Hence, you keep searching. Sliding in at number two is the Samsung Alias 2 for Verizon. No Jennifer Garner included. The keypad changes form depending on how you’re using it. Pretty sweet but it also doesn’t have Wi-Fi or a Pop 3 email. Not such a smartphone. So, what‘s number one? What phone is the most viewed and reviewed at CNET this month? Before we answer that, it’s time for another lame price. You know the drill. I ask you a question. You just love this phone. Preloaded widget limitations be damned. Omnia has taken up permanent residence on the Top 5 and it has Wi-Fi. See? I’m just saying to other phones, take the hint.
