Movie Remakes Trend

Sequels are so last year. Now, we all want to know what is being remade next. Better has the scoop.

Audra Lowe: Okay when it comes to the sequels forgets about them, they’re so last year Hollywood’s next big trend is taking us under the past with remakes of our favorites movies. So now we’ve got Kevin Polowy here, his from nextmovie.com and his going to highlight what we can expect from some of this remix and there is some really good ones out there Kevin, good to have you back. Kevin Polowy: There are thank you, thank you. Audra Lowe: Okay, I got to go down on the list here first and foremost, one project that is on hold right now My Fair Lady, tell me about that. Kevin Polowy: Yeah, fun fact about this movie the screenplay for the remake was actually written by Emma Thompson the two time award winning in the Oscar in the actress. This one is on hold right now because the Director John Madon who made Shakespeare in Love which is drop out but they do have a leading lady to play a wise and do little it’s Carrie Morgan. Audra Lowe: Really. Kevin Polowy: Who has an Oscar nominee or actually for an education, originally it’s Karen lately now it’s here Never Let Me go star Karen Morgan. Audra Lowe: And they’re still looking for a director right now for this one? Kevin Polowy: Yeah, so we are probably looking to the release of 2012 or 2013 or on that time. Audra Lowe: Okay so the next one is something that bloggers have been talking about a lot apparently according to your research, Conan right? Kevin Polowy: Yes, yeah that’s because— this is the remake of course of the Gubernator classic knight in 1980’s action movie. Yes some photo surface on the web certainly of the topless barbarian babes and everybody speculated that the famous origin scene from the origilanl. Audra Lowe: Right. Kevin Polowy: But you know it’s doing a reason to be excited about this movie. You have Jason from Star Gate Atlantis and taking over the Arnolds’ role in the league and this one is a really big budget and should be little up to the original. Audra Lowe: The expectations okay, now Footloose we all remember Footloose but to be question on this one Kevin Baking kind to make an appearance? Kevin Polowy: I hope so, I hope this one come to the side of Baking and I really do and I also really hope there is an empty warehouse to dance and to freak-out. Audra Lowe: Yeah, yeah. Kevin Polowy: So not like Baking did in the original and this one is originally cast with Zach Afron and he dropped out and he didn’t want to do another song and dance movie that’s for change. Audra Lowe: He dropped out it? Kevin Polowy: He dropped out and yeah and there is change from Gossip Girl, he dropped out now it’s a young actor name Kenny from MTV’s Dance Live taking on the lead role here. Audra Lowe: Very, very interesting to see especially why they dropped out too, so you never know. Okay now one of the next movie Arthur is a movie that’s been shooting all over New York recently and you guys saw in the Central Park right? Kevin Polowy: Yeah, just wanting to see watching film couple scene, this one is from Russel Brand and you know funny for guy with past addiction and he really likes playing the hard party in Playboy. Audra Lowe: Yeah. Kevin Polowy: Fresh off to get him to degree now he takes over the iconic doubly moral, it’s that the hard party in the Playboy and you I thing this one of the sort of mad cap comics sensibilities will expect big things from what I saw it look great this one will hit theaters next summer.
