New York Nights is an RPG crafted in an art style similar to that of Sally's Spa and other management games. The social sim app follows the story of your hero that you create and send into the world. The game's whole plotline is about creating a life for yourself in good old New York City. You'll unlock different areas as you progress through your new life which give you access to new jobs and new people you meet. The game mainly follows a strict story line although you can choose your personality and shape your lifestyle with choices that change the outcome of some parts of the plot. Actions like flirting, giving gifts, talking and more can be done in true sims like fashion. This is not a multiplayer game as some people would almost immediately think. There is a ton of non playable characters to meet, but no online interaction. This is a shame as we've yet to see a well-done online world for the iPhone and the setting is great for it in this game. In my experience reviewing this game I had different jobs, clothes and even went on different dates with women on my journey to reach the good life. Overall, this game is a pretty decent social sim with some great elements to play through. For the price it's being asked for it really is worth it to check out. The story may be a bit short for many, but there are some great things to explore in this world. For the short time I did get to play, I really enjoyed the game.
