Online Profile Picture Beauty Tips

Audra Lowe: --better beauty, it’s finally time to meet that guy that you’ve been chatting up on Facebook, match.com or eHarmony but your picture is seriously not working. That’s okay though, because make up artist Laura Geller is back and she says anybody can rev up your luck for a fabulous first meeting and it only takes five minutes. We’re revving up that online profile and with a few Laura’s tips and products from her full collection you’ll be profile pretty. Laura you said it’s not just if you’re looking for a guy Laura Geller: No, of course not. Audra Lowe: People should be looking for you. Laura Geller: No, that’s right. I tell you with my Facebook file page people from my past are cropping up everyday. Audra Lowe: And you know they’re good when they do see the pictures Laura Geller: That’s right. Audra Lowe: So we’ve got Dana and Kerrie here who are our models. Why don’t you let us know what you did that kind of jazz up their thoughts. Laura Geller: So here are a couple great tips that everybody should think about when they’re getting their picture taken for their new Facebook page. Audra Lowe: Right. Laura Geller: How about more importantly making that look like you just came from a long vacation. A little bronze to roll the skin to warm up the skin and really important, a little finishing powder like a matte powder that really takes all the shine down. Even if you don’t think you’re shiny put it on, great lipstick, a little blush and punch up the brows and eyes and I have to tell you it will look like you’re at a reunion ten years ago when they find you. Audra Lowe: I love the blue on her eyes though, how did you know how to use that? Laura Geller: Great trick is putting blue eye liner. It comes in many different shades and blue mascara you know why? Makes the whites look wider, makes your eyes look bigger. For Dana, we really played up her lashes and liner. What we did was we put a lot of mascara because you know what, the camera doesn’t pick that up, we really sculpted her cheek bones with great bright blush and soft gloss. You don’t want to over power your picture because you don’t want it to look too heavily made up. You want to look like yourself and we matte it down her face at the end to make sure there’re no shine. Audra Lowe: Then you know we guys know we all know the best weapon is for them to see the photo and look—watch out, look at me now. Laura Geller: That’s right. I agree with you, I’m with you.
