Rebecca Brayton: How many designers have zero waist as their goal? Hi! I am Rebecca Brayton and welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we are speaking with ethical designer of Myco Anna, Christiane Garant. Firstly, tell us about Myco Anna, the line. Christiane Garant: It started in 1995, so we were one of the first one who were doing recycling with clothing. Every piece is made from 100% of recycled material, which make each piece unique. Rebecca Brayton: What kinds of challenges does it present to work with recycled materials? Christiane Garant: You have to cut like each pieces one-by-one and check if there is an old stain or something, and also finding good material. Everything is cheaper and cheaper in the market, so what we find in big recycling centers is not as good quality as before. Rebecca Brayton: Is it difficult to follow color or texture trends when working with recycled materials? Christiane Garant: We look to trends just to know what is going on, but most of people buy because it's unique and it's different from everything on the market. Rebecca Brayton: So let's talk about this season's collection. Christiane Garant: It's very fairy, it's very bright. The color is like bright, so lime, purple for the flowers, bright red. Rebecca Brayon: Thank you very much. Christiane Garant: Thank you.
