A few simple tips to help you stay healthy and clean out your bathroom

Transcript
Medicines are the only thing in your bathroom cabinet that you need to be tossed when they have expired. But since many toiletry items aren’t dated, you may not know when they have reached their end. Here are a few guidelines to help you clean out your medicine cabinet. Antibiotic ointments should be thrown away after one year. Beyond the year, the antibiotic is probably still good but the chemical mix may start to go bad which may make the product be less effective. Throw away eye make up six months after opening. After months of everyday use, bacteria from air and from your eyes can overpower the product’s preservatives and may leave you vulnerable to infection. Finally, replace your toothbrush every three to four months because frayed or worn bristles don’t clean as well; leaving teeth vulnerable to the cavity. Check back tomorrow fro another 60-Second Solutions after I clean sweep.
