In this video we talk to designer Rebecca Moses and how her new collection has a price range for all consumers.

Audra: When it comes to fashion trends, couture is usually out of most people’s price range, but one fashion designer is putting on an affordable price tag on fashion. Here's Lauren. Lauren: I am hanging out with Rebecca Moses and her new line. I'm so excited for you. Rebecca: Me to, I'm so excited about this. Lauren: So when I just got this assignment, I was like. Okay, I'm going to go see her, her clothes are kind of pricey. So I have to talk about that in this economy. Then I was told that your cloths are going to retail from 49 to like $400, maybe. Rebecca: Totally. It’s all about accessibility. I'm so excited. Because you know, me living in Italy. Coming back home. I really wanted to bring a whole new help. Bring my style, bring my philosophy. Bring those tools that women can really dress and get all their voice of style out there. But in a really accessible way. We all would like to spend less, but you know, some things we can and sometimes we can't. So this collection is really about giving her the chance to dress stylish wise. Lauren: When you think of Rebecca Moses, you only use the best fabric. I think of cashmere and silk. So how are you going to take those fabrics, I knew you're going to be using them, and make it a lower price point. How would you do that? Rebecca: Well, it’s called really good sourcing. And we tried to do that. We tried to do really good research. Creative design. I think our jobs as designers are much more challenging today. I think its learning how to translate creativity and bringing it to an accessible way. And I think, like for example, I have this whole T-shirt collection inside the collection. I think T-shirts are like one of those iconic items in our wardrobe that were kind of like redefining. Design does not have to be expensive. Design can be accessible. And I think that women today are in a very good position because we are offering so many fabulous choices. Natural fibers. Beautiful colors. Beautiful materials. Really well made cloths. And with every single current trend of style that’s out there. And I think that’s what we made strides at. Lauren: I'm loving this dress. This is a simple black dress and it comes with my zipper neck. And that’s going to be like what? $159 or something like that. Rebecca: Yeah. Under that, actually. Lauren: Crazy. That’s great. Rebecca: Our little black dresses and this collection, a lot of key items like the trench coat. We have our martini shorts. Our lace skirt. We want to give you all those perfect little pieces that you can get your rack, because I'm a rack girl, you’ll get your rack and you know where to put the fundamental basics. Where your uniform pieces are. You got your uniform, you know where your uniform pieces are. Lauren: I do. Rebecca: You know, those pieces that are like magnetic to you. Lauren: You wore almost every day. Rebecca: You're going to wear them every day. And then you're going to get your wow things going. Maybe it’s a sequined T-shirt. Maybe it’s like a hot shade of pink that I'm in a pink state of mind. But you may not always be in a pink state of mind. And maybe you want a great print. You know, maybe you want some like airbrush looking print. Those are the wows. So fundamentals and wows. And that’s what we try to balance in the collection Heart, Soul, and Style.
